At Westminster, we have different teams run by the leaders of our church. To join a team, read through below and fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

Operations Team
- Purpose: To ensure the smooth operation of the church facilities during worship services and events.
- Responsibilities:
- Preparing the building by ensuring cleanliness and readiness for services or events.
- Setting up chairs, tables, and other necessary arrangements for worship or special occasions.
- Adjusting building temperatures for comfort.
- Preparing sacraments, such as communion elements, and ensuring they are in place when needed.
- Overseeing the teardown and reset of spaces after events.

Host Team
- Purpose: To create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all attendees.
- Responsibilities:
- Greeting congregants and visitors at the doors and providing directions as needed.
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and order in the parking lot.
- Setting up the coffee station before services and ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Cleaning up and organizing the coffee station after services.
- Being available to answer questions and guide new attendees to appropriate areas.

NextGen Team
- Purpose: To support the children’s and youth ministries by ensuring a safe, engaging, and well-organized experience.
- Responsibilities:
- Assisting the children’s and youth ministry leaders in supervising and engaging with children and youth during programs.
- Helping with the setup and cleanup of classrooms and activity areas.
- Managing the check-in process to ensure all children are securely checked in and accounted for.
- Overseeing the checkout process to verify that children are released to the appropriate guardians.
- Supporting special events or programs for children and youth as needed.

Prayer Team
- Purpose: To support the spiritual needs of the congregation through dedicated prayer and intercession.
- Responsibilities:
- Praying for worship services, church leaders, and the congregation as a whole.
- Being available after services to pray with individuals seeking support or encouragement.
- Praying for those on the church’s prayer list throughout the week.
- Calling individuals on the prayer list to offer encouragement and additional prayer support.

Worship Team
- Purpose: To facilitate worship experiences that lead the congregation in praising and glorifying God.
- Responsibilities:
- Serving on stage as part of the music team (vocalists or instrumentalists).
- Operating technical equipment, including:
- Lights for the sanctuary and stage.
- Audio systems to ensure clear and balanced sound.
- Cameras for livestreaming and recording services.
- Screen presentations for song lyrics, sermon slides, and announcements.
- Online service management, ensuring a seamless digital worship experience.
- Supporting rehearsal sessions and maintaining technical equipment
