How it all started...
Since 2013, God has led Westminster Church on a remarkable journey rooted in faith, perseverance, and a passion for discipleship. From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: we are disciples who make disciples, guiding all people to follow Jesus—moment by moment, step by step.
Westminster began as a small group of believers from the Presbyterian tradition, gathering in a modest shopfront with a big vision—to plant a gospel-centered church in Enid that would reach people with the hope of Christ. Though our resources were limited, our faith was not.
Shortly after, God opened the door for us to meet in the local Seventh-day Adventist Church building. For the next seven years, we worshiped there on Sundays—meeting on their “off days”—grateful for the shared space and the opportunity to grow. During that time, God deepened our roots, expanded our reach, and strengthened our community.

Expanding the vision...
In 2019, God opened another significant door for Westminster Presbyterian Church. Through His providence, we were led to consolidate with West Willow Community Church, merging our congregations and missions into one body united under Christ. This consolidation brought us to our current home at 2217 Constitution—an answer to prayer and a launchpad for continued ministry in the Enid community.
This move was more than a change of address—it was a step of faith that affirmed God's ongoing work among us. By bringing together the strengths, gifts, and stories of two congregations, God wove a new tapestry of fellowship, mission, and worship.

Where we are headed...
As Westminster Church looks to the future, we remain firmly rooted in the truth of Scripture and the mission of Christ. We are committed to continuing our partnership with the Great Plains Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, drawing strength from our connectional heritage while boldly pursuing new opportunities for gospel ministry.
A key part of our vision is expanding our partnerships with parachurch organizations—locally, nationally, and globally. These strategic collaborations allow us to serve more people, support missionaries and ministries beyond our walls, and equip our congregation to live out the Great Commission in everyday life.
We believe the church is not a building but a movement of disciples—called to love, serve, and share the hope of Jesus in all places. Whether through worship, small groups, missions, or community outreach, Westminster is moving forward with confidence, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us into what’s next.
