When nativity scenes are set up at Christmastime, Jesus is
always at the center of the picture. The nativity was the scene that ushered in the
promises of God for salvation and the presence of God to live among us. This four-week
series will focus on the characters of Zechariah and Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, and the
shepherds who brought the good news of Jesus’s birth. In the end, their individual
scenes all center around Jesus and remind us to center our individual lives around
Jesus too.
