At Westminster Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope that you'll join us for a service. We want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our worship service.
Our church is a relatively new church in Enid with an exciting future. We had been renting other facilities to worship in, until a few months ago when we purchased our new building. We were proud to move into our new building completely debt free!
If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, please feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance. Worship starts at 10:30!
Please don't worry about what to wear to church, for we believe that people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a couple of people in the church wear ties, many others wear shorts, jeans, and everything in between. On a typical Sunday, you will literally see people with baseball hats sitting next to other people in suits! It really is that diverse!
When you walk in, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors and Welcome Desk, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery if you have small children, and can point you towards our Kid's Worship area. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms and the sanctuary which are both close to the front door. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
And finally, don't worry, we won't do anything to point you out as a guest. Just come on in, grab a seat, and relax in a stress free environment! You won't want to make this your only visit! We hope to see you next Sunday!
